These are a few of the items on my “transitioning to fall wishlist” from the super affordable alloy.com. Yes, it is a teen site, but they have some great pieces that twenty-somethings (and beyond) can rock as well.
I’m not totally ready to admit that summer is over, hence the paisley Adriane Knit Maxi Dress, but the heavier knit fabric makes it wearable for transitioning to fall.
I’m so in love with the fun floral print and color of the Renee Satin Dress that it definitely made the list of must-haves.
I already own a pair of gold cowgirl boots (yes they’re as fab as they sound!) but a pair of chestnut ones will round out my fall wardrobe. The romance of the country with the all-American spirit that cowgirl boots evoke is perfect for fall and cuter than most golashes (although dav makes some very cute rainy day footwear.) Add non-skid shoe pads to the bottoms to be able to wear them through the rainy fall without the very uncute disaster of falling when it’s slippery out.
And last but not least the banded bottom pant. This is more of a summer piece but since they’re on sale (yay!), I’m buying them now. Cropped pants with gathered bottoms are so hot with a pair of heels (showing off the killer calves you’ve been working for all season gallivanting around in your stilettos) and a good casual outfit for moms on the go who still want to look really good while being comfortable running up to the grocery store. You all wear heels to the grocery store too, right? =)
